CONFIDENCE Kick-off

60% of all children experience bullying or social exclusion as they grow up, with long-term consequences for their mental and physical health.

Today we are pleased to begin our work in the project “CONFIDENCE – Mobile interactive experiential self-esteem training for the treatment of bullying in children”, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The aim is to help children grow up to be more self-confident and resilient. The CONFIDENCE project achieves this goal with individually tailored, interactive self-esteem training – specially developed for 10 to 12-year-olds and implemented as an app. Our training will not only strengthen children’s health, but also promote social resilience, diversity and cohesion in the long term. Because self-confident children become self-confident adults – and that strengthens us all.
